Mr & Mrs Berry

Spring had definitely sprung for the wedding of Katie and Stuart.

The day was perfect. It started with the ceremony at the beautiful church of All Saints in Bolton Percy.  A verse of "I Wanna Be Yours" by John Cooper Clark was read by Andrew Belfield.

Once Katie and Stuart had become Mr and Mrs Berry, the guests made their way to Hornington Manor where they were met with champagne and canapés in the reception room. I must mention the reception room looked so beautiful in spring coloured bunting which was hand-made by Katie and her Mum.

The Wonderful Wedding of Hannah & James Grey

After a lovely service at the Tockwith Church, the newly wed bride and groom arrived at the Manor in a vintage Volkswagen soft top. How super this was to be able to travel with the top down, it was the perfect start to the perfect day…

Hannah looked absolutely beautiful in her dress of satin and lace. Alongside her were her two bridesmaids who wore a delicate shade of pink, matching perfectly with the roses in their bouquets. The two younger girls looked so pretty in their white dresses and little fur boleros, I’m sure they felt like princesses, as they certainly looked like ones!

Vicky & James’ Special Day

Back in December Hornington Manor witnessed the glorious wedding of Vicky and James. Who wed to become Mr & Mrs Key.

There is nothing more amazing than seeing the bride all ready for the big day ahead dressed in her wedding gown. Vicky was no different, with a stunning dress on from Abigail's Bridal Boutique, in Leeds. The groom looked equally as impressive in his suit from Anthony Sinclair in Marylebone.

Mr & Mrs Lister

“Words are so important for our lovely English teacher “

The lovely couple said their vows at the local church to Hornington Manor, Bolton Percy. Joyful hymns were sung, such as ‘I Vow to thee my country’ and ‘O’come all ye faithful’.

Mark Fowler, the pianist was fabulous in the church providing the wedding march as Louise walked down the aisle.

Mr & Mrs Duckworth

The earlier rain didn't dampen the spirits of this glorious wedding one little bit.

However, as the bride and groom were brought back from the lovely little church of All Saints in Bolton Percy, we had bursts of sunshine to welcome the New Mr and Mrs Duckworth. The beautiful vintage car was decked with satin ribbon; it really was a lovely sight. Luckily, the photographer was ready with her camera to catch the movie-like moment.

Sarah & Matt’s Big Day

Of course all our weddings are different and we always love seeing the beautiful ways all the brides and grooms decorate the wedding barn, we are so amazed how each one is so unique and splendid.

Sarah and Mathew were no different. They had an arch of eucalyptus branches for the civil ceremony, which later matched the decorations on the individual tables, the room looked sensational.

Holly & James’ Winter Wedding

The beginning of December saw the beautiful Winter wedding of Holly and James take place. With a highly decorative festive theme throughout, it felt like Christmas had well and truly come early!

Joe & Laura Bothamley

How fortunate are we to be chosen by such lovely people to have their special day with us. Joe and Laura’s wedding was a fine example.

They decorated our wonderful barn with such beautiful detail. Glittering candles inside hurricane lamps led the way to their ceremony which was so perfect with their friends and family looking on.

Kirsty Allanson & Richard Hicks

Kirsty and Richard’s big day had arrived and it was clear Kirsty had worked so hard on everything, with many of the finer details finally coming to light. It was evident everything had been thought out, from the personalised hangers, to hang the men’s suits on to the name places in church.

The day started at 8 am when the hair dresser and make-up artist arrived to get the bride and her bridesmaid’s ready for the wedding. Once complete, Kristy’s big moment arrived – to put on her wedding dress.

Kyrie and Jacob’s Special Day

From first meeting Kyrie and Jacob I could tell they were such a warm and caring couple and upon hearing about Kyrie’s voluntary work for Alzheimer’s society, putting in a lot of hard work with services for people with dementia, this only confirmed my initial thoughts.

On hand was a host of wonderful suppliers which made sure the day ran smoothly, from the morning preparations of hair and makeup by Lauren Laprell to the evening celebrations by the Backbeat band.
