Once upon a time, there was an enchanting little Shepherd Hut named Folklore. Said to attract a fluttering flock of pixies each night, this hut is bursting with tales to be told.

Stories of giants, witches, ghosts and huge feral hounds are legion throughout Yorkshire, capturing the wild, dark, mystery of the landscape. The region is also home to more mystical carvings of the foretold ‘Green Man’ than any other county in England.

The Folklore Hut boasts embroidered appliques of Hornington Manor and its medieval ridged field, the illustrious Hornington Man and vases decorated with The Cottingley Fairies. Fill your stay with fables, storybooks and frolics through the fields. And, if you stay up past midnight, who knows what you might see on your doorstep?
