For the wonderful wedding ceremony the guests headed over to the infamous wedding barn. The barn was decorated beautifully with fresh flowers, candles, and garlands of ivy.
Sara was a beautiful sight as she gracefully walked down the aisle with her bridesmaids to a stunning arch of flowers. Her husband-to-be, Matt, waited eagerly at the other end of the aisle. As always the ceremony was expertly conducted and everyone applauded when they were announced Man and Wife.
A particularly wonderful reading by one of the guests, which has to be shared, was an extract from Les Miserables – Victor Hugo…
You can give without loving, but you can never love without giving .
The great acts of love are done by those who are habitually performing small acts of kindness .
We pardon to the extent that we love.
Love is knowing that even when you are alone, you will never be lonely again,
And great happiness of life is the conviction that we are loved
Loved for ourselves
And even loved in spite of ourselves.
As of all weddings here at Hornington Manor at this time of year, our baby lambs are a wonderful addition to our Hornington Manor family. The lambs joined Sara and Matt with their guests on the front lawn for drinks and canapé’s. The lambs having their own bottled milk instead of a glass of bubbly!

The weather was kind once again here at Hornington Manor, as we enjoy our own little ‘micro climate’ – once said by Lois our wonderful cake lady. She admitted that only 20 miles away it was not very pleasant, as was the forecast. Matt and Sara luckily got to enjoy the special time with friends and family on the front lawn. Sara’s beautiful English Rose complexion even showed signs of a little base tan, ready for her honeymoon in Mexico the following week.
A fabulous meal was served by Ged and his team from Hog and Apple, with many complements of how gorgeous the food was and helpful the staff are.

The speeches were hilarious, wonderful and ever so endearing. The guests were treated to words from Matt, Sarah’s Dad and Tim and James (who are Matt’s brothers). Both relayed funny tales of Matt’s stag do, which ended with Matt in a duck pond!
Love truly knows no boundaries as Matt described his beautiful bride as generous and supportive and the love of his life – such lovely things to hear.
Kings of the Dance Floor kept everyone on their toes for the evening and the photo booth was a constant source of entertainment. All in all it was a wonderful day of celebrations, complete with delicious food, crazy dancing and fond memories. I’m sure it’s a day Matt and Sara will remember for the rest of their lives.

On behalf of the whole Hornington Manor gang, we’d like to wish Sara and Matt the happiest of married lives!
